چکیده

Objective. To evaluate the functional activity of entomopathogenic strains Bacillus thuringiensis 87 and 800 during bioassay on target object — Colorado beetle population depending characteristics bacterial cultivation. Methods. Microscopic, microbiological (to cultivate bacteria different media determine spore titre), (on larvae natural Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say period dominance younger age (L1–2), model laboratory field experiments with potatoes degree entomocidity studied strains), weight estimate yield continuous harvesting from plots), biochemical content starch sugar in potato tubers), statistical. The entomocidal spore-crystal complex was calculated according to Abbott Franz. Results. highest productive components liquid presentations B. occurs yeast-polysaccharide cabbage digest (spore titre ranges 2.2 3.1 billion/mL 3.6 4.7 billion/mL, respectively). According against Say. (L1–4), demonstrated effective parameters 96.0% higher at Day 10 experiment. In conditions, high functionality (entomocidal 95.0–98.0 %), which is not inferior chemical variant spraying plants (Koginor, where death 7–10 96.0–99.0 %). Conclusion. As a result conducted research, efficiency use formation plant protection systems phytophages proven. This confirms potential justified application these agricultural production.

Role of toxin activation on binding and pore formation activity of the Bacillus thuringiensis Cry3 toxins in membranes of Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Say).

Binding and pore formation constitute key steps in the mode of action of Bacillus thuringiensis delta-endotoxins. In this work, we present a comparative analysis of toxin-binding capacities of proteolytically processed Cry3A, Cry3B and Cry3C toxins to brush border membranes (BBMV) of the Colorado potato beetle Leptinotarsa decemlineata (CPB), a major potato coleopteran-insect pest. Competition ...
